The Designer: Lena Bergström
Lena Bergström (born in 1961) studied design in Japan, Finland, Belgium, and England and has a master’s degree in textiles from one of Sweden's most prestigious art universities. She began working as a designer for Orrefors in 1994 while continuing to develop her role as a textile designer for Klässbols, Design House, and Designer’s Eye, among others. Bergström’s work is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm, Sweden, the Cleveland Museum of Art located in the state of Ohio, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the United Kingdom. Her work has been exhibited at numerous galleries and museums worldwide, and she has received many awards, including approximately fifteen recognitions for her Orrefors glass designs. In addition to product design, Lena Bergström has carried out and contributed to several interior design projects, such as the crystal reception desk at Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. For Orrefors, Lena Bergström has designed the collections Carat (Elle Interiör Design Award 2010), Squeeze (Excellent Swedish Design 1997), and Puck (Excellent Swedish Design 1999).

How will I know when my order has shipped?
- After you order, the item gets packed and prepped. Once it’s out the door, you’ll get a tracking number to see where your item is in transit.
How will it get to me?
- Smaller items will come like any FedEx/UPS delivery that comes to your home or business.
- Larger items will go on freight truck. Certain carriers may call you to schedule a good date/time for you to receive the items, we will alert you if this will take place with your specific order.
- Items will be delivered to your porch, garage, or first dry area, but not inside the building.
- To bring the best possible service and make sure items are delivered without damages or blemishes, we have delivery partners that do nothing but deliver larger items.
- Many small parcel items will take the standard delivery time of 3-7 business days, depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse.
How do I cancel?
- As long as it’s not on the truck and ready to go, you can cancel it without any fees!
- Once it’s on the truck it’ll be considered a return.
How do I return an item?
- Just contact us via email at orders@homebarvino.com with your order number and reason for returning then we will get the process started.
- While shipping is free, the costs associated with getting it to your location will be deducted
